Historical information Disney Magic Cruise Ship Model:
Disney Magic, a cruise ship owned and operated by Disney Cruise Line, a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company. Its maiden voyage had 11 public decks, accommodating 2.700 passengers in 875 staterooms and had a crew of approximately 950. The interior of Disney Magic is adorned in Art Deco style. The other four ships are Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy and Disney Wish.
The ship features 20 bright yellow lifeboats along with the black, red and white colors of the ship itself, fitting with the colors of Mickey Mouse. This departure from the standard orange safety color has waived international maritime regulations. Like other Disney cruise ships, the ship’s horn plays a segment of “When You Wish Upon a Star”. Disney Magic’s “Godmother” is Patricia Disney, the former wife of Walt Disney’s grandson, Roy E. Disney.
In May 2023, Disney Magic completed a three-week dry dock maintenance period in the Bahamas, followed by trials and operations from San Juan, PR, serving itineraries in the Southern Caribbean and ABC islands.
